A traditional album like that will look fantastic! I've loved photo corners since I first saw them in one of my nan's old albums. Just gorgeous.

Once you start, it's very hard to stop - your plan to focus on your book first is a very sound one.

You know, I might just have a serious thought about that. It'll probably require me to keep travelling about the place and hunting down interesting places, but I could probably cope with that.

Thanks for your encouragement! :)

It's so much fun! Time-consuming, but fun.

I am very tempted to offer my photobooking skills to the world, believe me! Eventually, my store of photos is going to run out and I'll need some more to play with...

Well that just gives me a fantastic excuse to go back to Malmsbury. I can't believe I missed the bakery when I was there! My bakery radar must have been on the blink that day.

That sounds like a great weekend - trying a new place at every meal. Love it! If you're ever (slightly) further north, the Malmsbury bakery is worth a look. I haven't been for a few years but when I worked nearby their pies were amazing - actual chunks of meat and veg - and the sausage rolls were delightfully fat and garlicky.

One of my aims for the next eight-hundred-and-something-days is to sort out all my photos and get the good ones printed. At present I'm going with normal albums (probably black pages with proper photo corners) because I got 80 free prints per month for a year when I bought a lens at Camera House in the city, but I like the idea of photo books very much!

Very cool. I'm trying to keep from thinking of all the projects like this I could do. Better to focus on writing my book. But maybe in a few years, this could become my new obsession.

Very cool. Here's a thought, though. Do this, for realz? I mean, try to get this published? There's plenty of books out there that feature places and stuff, why not yours? You take some of the most unique pictures I've ever seen, bringing out things in places that not many people can.

LOVE! I love the idea of photo books but haven't had the patience to sit down and work out lay out with mine - I get so tempted to outsource the project to someone who will have an eye (and objectivity) to hone down my snaps into a great photo book - more efficiently than I could. Maybe a future business op for you? ;)
